EMIGRATION to US and Canada

Now days in USA and Canada live about 250 persons with the name Ossolinski and various forms of the name changed by English pronunciation: Osolinski, Osolinsky , Oselinski , Oselinsky . First the Ossolinski's arrived to America in the half of the 19^th century, but as yet I don't know their descendants. Below there are family trees of families which came to USA and Canada in 1890-1914. Their arrived with the great emigration on the turn of the 19^th century. They settled mostly on the eastern coast of USA. Now days their descendants live in the whole USA. Much surprising is that almost all of the Ossolinski's living today in USA come from a few places in Poland (several villages situated between Rzeszow and Krosno). History of these Ossolinski's families in USA reaches already over hundred years. Most of them didn't forget their roots in Poland and maintain the memory of their ancestors.

 

Ossolisnki's (Osolinsky) living today in whole Canada come from one person who arrived to Canada in 1904 - Jan Ossolinski from Sadki on Ukraine.

 

People in USA with name Ossolinski (with double S) are one family. This family came to USA from village Ustrobna from Poland to Checopee Mass in USA - about 1900.
